XLRI Jamshedpur records 100% internship placement for 587 students, stipends up to Rs 3.5 lakh

XLRI Jamshedpur has achieved 100 per cent internship placement for its batch of 587 students. A total of 106 companies, including 32 first-time recruiters, made 594 offers, with the highest monthly stipend touching Rs 3.5 lakh.

The average stipend was Rs 1.75 lakh a month and the median Rs 1.80 lakh, while the top 10 per cent averaged Rs 2.58 lakh. Consulting made up the largest share of offers at 30 per cent, followed by FMCG and retail at 21 per cent and e-commerce, technology and media at 19 per cent. Recruiters included Accenture, BCG, Deloitte, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Amazon and Google.

Director Dr (Fr) Sebastian George, SJ, congratulated the students, saying full placement and the arrival of new recruiters reflect the institute’s academic quality and the trust of industry.
