Ranchi, A voluntary blood donation camp was organized today at the Assembly Dispensary located in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly premises. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren inaugurated the camp by donating blood himself. Describing blood donation as a great humanitarian act, the Chief Minister said that it is such a virtuous act, which gives new life to many needy people. He called upon all the members, officers and employees of the assembly to participate enthusiastically in this noble work. Also, he appealed to every section of society to understand the importance of blood donation and adopt it regularly. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Shri Rabindra Nath Mahto, ministers, MLAs, and assembly officers and employees were present and donated blood enthusiastically.
