Local Villagers Chase Off Elephant After It Throws Farmer to Ground

A sudden elephant assault on a farmer in Chalgri village sparked a chaotic scene that was quickly contained by nearby residents. After the animal hurled Guddu Gop onto the ground, the villagers grabbed sticks and created a loud commotion, shouting and beating drums. The persistent noise scared the elephant, which fled the area, leaving the injured farmer behind. Thanks to the swift reaction of the community, the farmer's life was saved, and he was taken to the district hospital for treatment. Authorities from the forest department arrived later to attempt to herd the elephants back toward the forest, but the animals continue to roam near cultivated lands, keeping locals on edge.
