An intensive training initiative for educators, organized by Vidya Bharati’s various wings in Jharkhand, successfully wrapped up in Ranchi this Saturday. The program, which saw participation from across the state, focused on the professional and personal development of teachers. The closing ceremony at Kudlum was marked by inspiring speeches and a call to action for educators to become pillars of social change. Chief speaker Gopal Sharma highlighted that an Acharya is fundamentally a social leader. He articulated that educators must embody the virtues they wish to see in their students. The training emphasized that subject knowledge alone is insufficient; rather, it is the educator's lifestyle and ethics that leave a lasting impact on pupils. Sharma urged the attendees to foster a sense of national pride and protect students from the encroachment of cultural erosion. Vidya Bharati Secretary Nakul Kumar Sharma commended the teachers for their rigorous commitment during the workshop. He explained that the 'Panchakoshiya' and 'Panchapadi' systems of education are central to the organization's mission of developing well-rounded individuals. He noted that a teacher’s behavior is the primary foundation for a student's personality development, far beyond mere academic scores. In a display of creativity and intellectual rigor, three handwritten magazines produced by the trainees were launched during the ceremony. The event was graced by several prominent figures, including Khyaliram and Ramavtar Narsaria. In his presidential address, Narsaria described teaching as a 'divine task' and called on the Acharyas to continue their contribution to nation-building with a 'Nation First' spirit.
