Tragic Highway Crash in Jharkhand: 5 Family Members Dead

The Danuwa Valley in Hazaribagh became a site of horror when a family's journey to a wedding ended in a fatal collision. Five members of a family from Dhanbad lost their lives after their car was sandwiched between a speeding truck and a trailer. The victims were identified as Shivkumar Bhuiyan, a BCCL lineman, and his relatives. Witnesses stated that the truck hit the car at high speed, wedging it under a trailer. Rescuers spent hours using industrial cutters to extract the deceased. Shivkumar’s son, Ranjit, survived because he stayed home.
