Three Accused Get Life Terms in Dhanbad's 2004 Gangster House Shooting

The Dhanbad district court has handed down life imprisonment to three men for their role in the 2004 armed raid on gangster Fahim Khan’s house. Shahid Alam, Shahadat Hussain and Tanveer Alam were found guilty by Justice Tripti Kumar Singh. Alongside the life sentences, the court imposed additional penalties under the Arms Act. The original attack occurred when gunmen wielding an AK-47 opened fire on Khan’s home in Wasseypur. Khan escaped by climbing onto a neighbor’s roof, but his bodyguard was fatally shot.
