Breaking: Thieves Pose as Census Staff, Assault Victim in Daydahar Complex

Authorities are investigating a violent home invasion at Daydahar Apartment where criminals masqueraded as census workers. The suspects, two young men accompanied by a woman claiming to be a census employee, entered the flat of Leelawati Amma. They held her captive for about thirty minutes, during which they assaulted her, broke a tooth, and stole gold jewellery. After committing the theft, they locked her in a balcony and escaped. Neighbours hearing the victim's screams called the police, and the victim's husband, a sales manager at an auto showroom, arrived shortly thereafter.
