On the demise of Jharkhand agitator and social worker Kapoor Kumar Tudu ji (Kapoor Baghi ji), Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren reached the residence of the deceased at Chilgu-Chakulia in Chandil under Seraikela-Kharsawan district today and paid floral tributes to the mortal remains of the deceased and offered emotional tributes. The Chief Minister met the bereaved family and consoled them and prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the grief. The Chief Minister also participated in the last journey and funeral program.
Lifelong social concern
The Chief Minister said that I have lost a brother, friend and Jharkhand agitator in the form of Kapoor Tudu ji. His death is not only our family loss but this state has lost a personality who, from the struggle for a separate state to his entire life, as a social worker, kept trying to alleviate the sufferings of the common people. Family consists of mother, wife and three minor children
It is known that late Kapoor Kumar Tudu ji was the cousin of Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren. He passed away yesterday on 6 May 2025. He has left behind his mother Smt. Sukhi Tudu, wife Smt. Sukurmani Tudu and two sons and a daughter. He was known for his simplicity and straightforwardness. Social concern and service towards the common people were his identity.
