State Honors Shibu Soren’s Legacy and Pledges Inclusive Development

The Jharkhand government paid homage to Shibu Soren, the stalwart of the state’s rights movement, by laying a wreath at his portrait and delivering a solemn address. Hemant Soren recalled Soren’s sacrifices, noting that his fight for justice inspired generations of activists. He announced a set of new initiatives targeting tribal welfare, ranging from improved healthcare infrastructure in remote areas to skill‑development programmes aimed at empowering youth. The chief minister asserted that these steps reflect the administration’s commitment to fulfil the aspirations of the Dishom Guru.
