State plans comprehensive mapping of digital infrastructure and 5G rollout

During the session, the CM reviewed the work of Jharkhand Digital Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. and ordered a state-wide mapping of all digital assets. The mapping will feed a three-year plan to connect every gram-panchayat with 5G connectivity, extending high-speed internet to villages and small towns. Projects such as BharatNet Phase-3, Connecting Jharkhand, and JharNet 2.0 were examined in detail. The chief minister described these initiatives as the backbone of a secure, unified digital network that will enhance data, voice, and video-conferencing capabilities for faster and more transparent governance.
