State arranges financial aid for dependents of deceased yoga trainer

In addition to repatriating the body, the Jharkhand government has approved a financial package of ₹5 lakh for the dependents of Raja Kumar Verma. The assistance is being provided under the Chief Minister’s Jharkhand International Migrant Worker Grant Scheme.

The Labour Department will disburse the amount directly to the family, aiming to support them during this difficult period. Officials emphasized that the scheme is designed to help families of migrant workers who lose their lives abroad.

The announcement was made on the same day the remains were brought back, highlighting the state’s commitment to both logistical and economic support for affected families.
