Sports Secretary, Sports Director and Major General meet Chief Minister, invite him as Chief Guest for Durand Cup

Ranchi, Today, Secretary of the Department of Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Sports Director Mr. Chhavi Ranjan, General Officer Commanding-23 IBG Major General Sajjan Singh Mann, Durand Cup Nodal Officer Colonel Hem Chandra, and Assistant Nodal Officer Major Anand Prakash paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren at his official residence on Kanke Road. During this meeting, the officials invited Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren to attend the inauguration ceremony and the opening match of the 135th edition of the Durand Cup-2026, to be held in Ranchi from July 26, 2026, as the Chief Guest.
