Southern States Continue Monsoon, Coastal Regions See Rain Until Oct 22

The monsoon trough remains active over South India. Kerala, Karnataka’s coastal belt, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands are likely to receive rain on most days through October 22. Inland districts of Karnataka and parts of Andhra Pradesh will also experience intermittent showers. Temperatures in these regions will range between 28 °C and 34 °C, with humidity staying high. No major thunderstorms are expected, but localized heavy downpours may occur.
