Six CoBRA Jawans Injured During Saranda Forest Operation

While security forces celebrated success in Chatra, a separate operation in the dense Saranda forest of West Singhbhum turned volatile. During a search mission targeting a squad led by high-profile Naxal leader Misir Besra, six personnel from the CoBRA battalion sustained injuries. The injuries were caused by a combination of gunfire and IED explosions triggered by the retreating rebels. The wounded jawans were immediately evacuated and are currently receiving medical treatment. Security forces have intensified their search in the Baliwa forest area to track down Besra, who carries a one-crore rupee bounty.
