Special Investigation Team Recovers Gold, Cash After Ranchi Robbery

After the audacious robbery in Ranchi’s posh Ashok Nagar, the Special Investigation Team launched a multi‑pronged recovery drive. The team first arrested the wives of two prime suspects – Gulshan Praveen and Shakila (also known as Ladli) – and retrieved gold, diamond and pearl ornaments along with cash from their possession. Subsequent sweeps across Bihar and adjoining states yielded an additional ₹17 lakh in cash and jewellery, bringing total recovered assets to close to one crore rupees. Police also confiscated the stolen Jaguar, which had been used as the getaway vehicle. The SIT’s efforts highlight the use of technology‑enabled evidence and inter‑state cooperation to dismantle the criminal network.
