SIT formed by Ranchi police after thieves steal Rs 8 lakh cash and jewellery worth Rs 90 lakh

Following the break-in at Triveni Builder Akhilesh Pandey’s residence, Ranchi’s City SP Parash Rana set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to unravel the complex theft. The team, headed by Kotwali ASP Nikhil Rai, includes officers from Kotwali, Dhurwa, Birsa Chowk, and Pundag police outposts. The victims reported a loss of approximately ₹8 lakh in cash and jewellery valued at about ₹90 lakh, including 600 grams of gold and a diamond set.
