Security Nets Around Ranchi Assembly as Students Break Barricades

A security cordon has been established around the Ranchi legislative assembly after students intensified their protest on day 17. The administration has placed concertina wire at multiple choke points and dispatched a contingent of 1,500 soldiers, complemented by continuous drone monitoring. The protesters, however, have not been deterred. They repeatedly breach the wire fences, advancing toward the assembly while chanting slogans, signalling that the standoff between the government and the demonstrators is far from over.
