In a significant move to bolster passenger safety, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted a thorough security sweep at Lohardaga Railway Station on Wednesday. Acting on directives from Ranchi Rail Division Commandant Pawan Kumar, RPF officials and staff meticulously examined the station premises, circulating areas, and parking zones. The operation was implemented in response to the prevailing security landscape. Utilizing the Ultra Vehicle Scanning System (UVSS) machine, all vehicles within the station limits underwent rigorous inspection. Fortunately, no prohibited or objectionable items were discovered during this comprehensive vehicle scan. Furthermore, inquiries with parking staff revealed that no vehicles have been left unattended in the parking area for extended periods. Passenger luggage also received careful scrutiny, ensuring the safety and security of travelers. The entire operation was executed with utmost professionalism and vigilance. Lohardaga RPF remains committed to maintaining a constant watch to guarantee the safety of passengers and uphold the alertness of the station environment.
