Ranchi civic body fills potholes on routes to 176 puja pandals using 981 tractor loads of stone dust

Ahead of Durga Puja, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation has filled potholes on the routes leading to 176 puja pandals across 53 wards, using 981 tractor loads of stone dust so far.

The corporation said its team inspected all pandals, their approach roads and surrounding areas based on requests from puja committees. The committees had asked for 624 tractor loads in total, but the corporation supplied 981.

The work has levelled pandal premises and nearby areas, making it easier and safer for devotees to move around during the festival.
