Ranchi IT Park Proposed as Investment Hub During National Digital Roadmap Presentation
For the first time at a national level, the Ranchi IT Park will be put forward as a flagship investment project during the Digital Roadmap presentation. Spanning approximately 100.97 acres within the core capital area of Ranchi, the park is strategically situated near IIM Ranchi and close to Birsa Munda Airport, ensuring excellent connectivity.
The proposal highlights Jharkhand's annual output of over 20,000 IT graduates and leverages the most attractive incentive package in eastern India, as outlined in the Jharkhand IT Policy‑2023. These incentives include up to 50% capital investment reimbursement, 100% stamp duty exemption, and full waiver of electricity charges for eligible projects.
Stakeholders anticipate that the Ranchi IT Park will become a magnet for tech firms looking to establish a presence in a rapidly growing digital ecosystem.
