Ranchi is implementing stringent security measures for the main Jharkhand Foundation Day celebration on November 15th at Morahabadi ground. Approximately one thousand police personnel will be deployed to ensure safety and order. To oversee the extensive security arrangements, Ranchi will see the deployment of three IPS officers, six DSPs, and numerous other officials. According to the Jharkhand Police spokesperson and IG Operations, Dr. Michael Raj, additional forces are being mobilized for the Foundation Day event. While the main ceremony is scheduled for the afternoon at Morahabadi Maidan, security personnel will be on high alert from 6 AM. The city will witness the deployment of over a thousand additional jawans. The security detail includes three IPS officers, six DSPs, 40 inspectors, and 80 sub-inspectors. Security at the main venue in Morahabadi will be multi-layered. Additionally, Bomb Disposal Squads, Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP), Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), and Jharkhand Jaguar teams will be on standby. To prevent any security breaches, the entire city will be under CCTV surveillance. Plainclothes police officers will also be present. All vehicles heading to the venue will undergo thorough checking before being granted access. Metal detectors have been installed at the entry points, and scanners will also be utilized for comprehensive checks. Only after a complete search will attendees be permitted into the event premises. Dignitaries including the Governor, Chief Minister, ministers, MPs, MLAs, and senior state officials are expected to attend the main ceremony.
