Ranchi Dialogue Emphasizes Youth Responsibility Towards Democratic Values

A crowd of students and young activists convened at Ranchi’s Carnival Banquet Hall on Sunday for a “Constitution Dialogue” organized by the Greater Ranchi Congress. The event, part of the “Students’ Resonance” series, aimed to connect youth with the foundational principles of India’s Constitution.

Kumar Raja, the congress president for the region, presided over the session. The keynote address was delivered by K Raju, senior Congress figure and Jharkhand’s state in‑charge. He described the Constitution as the country’s soul, providing equal protection, justice and liberty.

Raju encouraged the audience to view the Constitution not merely as academic material but as a guiding force for daily life, calling for active participation in safeguarding democratic institutions.

JPC president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh underscored the Congress’s historic commitment to defending constitutional dignity, citing Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision of equal opportunity for every citizen.

Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore reinforced the message that youthful energy fuels national progress. He stressed the urgency of fostering dialogue, tolerance and constitutional awareness among the next generation.

During the interactive segment, students discussed topics ranging from educational reforms and employment to social justice and strengthening democratic bodies. The program concluded with a collective resolve to spread the Constitution’s preamble and values across communities.
