Ranchi Child Kidnapping Case Solved Quickly After Ransom Threat Over ₹5,000 Loan

The Ranchi police acted swiftly after registering a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. A special task force led by the Rural SP launched raids across more than thirty sites, seizing mobile phones and gathering forensic data. The kidnappers had taken the child to Kantatoli bus station, boarded a bus to Gaya, and then pressured the family by demanding three lakh rupees, even threatening to dispose of the body. The family transferred ₹5,000 in two installments to the kidnappers' accounts, but the police intercepted the communication and rescued the girl unharmed.
