Rain, Thunderstorms and Strong Winds Expected Across Central Jharkhand

Meteorologists have identified a broad band of low pressure set to sweep across central Jharkhand beginning mid‑July. The pattern will produce heavy downpours, frequent thunderclaps, and wind gusts of up to 50 kilometres per hour in districts such as Garhwa, Latehar, and Chatra.

The forecast highlights the risk of localized flooding, especially in low‑lying zones and near riverbanks. Residents should monitor water levels, avoid standing near open drains during storms, and keep emergency kits ready in case power outages occur.
