Police Arrest Suspect After Panchayat Attempts to Settle Rape Allegation

Following the panchayat’s effort to resolve the rape allegation through monetary punishment, the Ghaghra police acted swiftly. Detective Mohan Kumar received a tip about the council’s plan and filed an FIR based on the victim’s mother’s statement. The accused, Sunil Lohera, was arrested and presented before the court. Investigations are also underway to identify any individuals who may have colluded to conceal the crime.
