Numbers Reveal Progress: 113 Naxal Arrests and 193 Gang Captures Since January

Official figures released by the Jharkhand Police headquarters illustrate the scale of recent operations. From January to the present, 113 individuals linked to Naxalite outfits were detained, while 193 members of organized crime rings were arrested. The anti-gang raids also yielded 63 firearms, 274 rounds of ammunition and dozens of hand-carts of contraband. The strategic emphasis now lies in targeting the financial arteries of these groups by confiscating property, freezing bank accounts and scrutinising shell companies to dismantle the profit engine of terror.
