New Tracking System Targets Fraudulent Ration Claims in Jharkhand

A specialised tracking mechanism has been rolled out across Jharkhand to pinpoint irregularities in public distribution system (PDS) claims. By analysing the latest grain pickup logs and overlaying them with financial statements, the system quickly isolates beneficiaries who are either inactive or financially ineligible.

The initiative aligns with the "One Nation One Card" policy, enabling a unified card that works at any PDS outlet nationwide. This reduces duplication and prevents misuse of subsidised food grains.

The government’s overarching aim is to guarantee that every entitled citizen receives the full benefit of the ration scheme while eliminating fraudulent practices that drain public resources.
