The Ranchi police are investigating whether the death of a young student who fell from a high-rise hostel building was an accident, a suicide, or something more sinister. Preliminary reports suggest that Gayatri, who was residing on the fourth floor of a girls' hostel on East Jail Road, fell to her death while other residents were occupied. Investigation into the student's medical background has revealed that she suffered from epilepsy. City DSP KV Raman stated that the police are exploring the possibility that a sudden seizure might have caused her to lose balance and fall. However, all angles remain under investigation.
