He first plied his friend with alcohol and then brutally murdered him by slitting his throat. The victim, identified as Ajay, also known as Jhatu, was killed in the Golmuri police station area, specifically in the Gadabasa region of Jamshedpur. The accused, Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Gadabasa, has been arrested. The local community was shocked by the horrifying incident. Police arrived at the scene and transported the injured Ajay to Tata Medical Hospital, where he was declared dead. Sandeep Kumar was arrested and the police have launched a thorough investigation. According to local reports, Ajay and Sandeep were close friends who worked in the same shop. However, Sandeep was deeply superstitious and interested in tantric practices, which led him to sacrifice his friend. This incident has caused significant concern in the area, especially during the auspicious occasion of Navratri.
