Make-in-India Initiative Strengthened by New CSIR-NML and Oswal Agreement

The collaboration aligns with the central government's Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat campaigns, aiming to build a self‑reliant testing infrastructure. By developing high‑quality certified reference materials within India, the agreement seeks to cut import reliance and boost the nation's capacity for industrial research, quality assurance and product validation. Officials present at the signing included CSIR‑NML Director Dr. Sandeep Ghosh Chaudhary, along with senior scientists and technical staff such as Dr. S K Pal, Dr. A K Upadhyay, Rupa Das Biswas, Dr. Rajen Kundu, Dr. Bina, Dr. Mohammad Arif and Mr. Saroj Kumar.
