<p>Six people lost their lives in Palamu district as the Karam Dali immersion, a post-festival tradition, turned deadly.</p><p>The first tragedy struck Bokia village, where five young men were immersed in the Koyal River along with the ceremonial branches and drowned.</p><p>The second incident occurred at Nani Jharia, claiming the lives of a 15-year-old girl and her father who were caught by the river's surge.</p>
