Jio Tasked with Fast-Tracking Tower Construction in Ramgarh’s Chuttupalu Valley

Ramgarh district administration has tasked telecom provider Jio with accelerating the erection of a mobile tower in the Chuttupalu valley. The decision came after District Commissioner Riturraj inspected the area and found that the lack of connectivity hampers swift emergency assistance.

Jio’s technical crew was ordered to survey potential sites, prepare a comprehensive proposal, and begin construction without delay. The enhanced network is expected to improve alert delivery for ambulances, police units, and disaster‑relief teams.

The inspection also identified accident‑hotspots and prompted a broader discussion on road safety upgrades, such as better lighting and emergency lanes.

Attendees comprised the DFO, senior confidential branch official, DPO, UID officers, regional administrators, and Jio’s technical representatives.
