Jharkhand Tribal Festival 2026 Ready for Grand Inauguration, All Preparations Complete at Morahabadi Ground

The two-day Tribal Festival 2026, dedicated to Jharkhand's rich tribal culture, traditions, and heritage, will be grandly inaugurated tomorrow at Ranchi's Morahabadi Ground. To ensure the successful, safe, and well-organized conduct of the festival, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Mrs. Vandana Dadel, inspected the venue in detail on Friday.

During the inspection, Mrs. Dadel reviewed the ongoing construction work and various arrangements at the festival site. She directed the concerned officials to complete all preparations within the stipulated timeline while paying special attention to quality. Furthermore, she instructed them to ensure that no mismanagement occurs during the event.

The Additional Chief Secretary reviewed preparations for VIP movement, security, sanitation, traffic management, drinking water, electricity supply, parking, and crowd control. She stated that all basic facilities should be robustly provided to prevent any inconvenience to the large number of visitors expected at the festival. During this, she inspected the main stage, stalls of various departments and organizations, parking areas, and all other arrangements, and instructed the concerned departments to complete all preparations before the commencement of the event.

Mrs. Dadel said that the Tribal Festival is an important opportunity to showcase the state's cultural identity at national and international levels. She directed all departments to fulfill their responsibilities with mutual coordination and seriousness.

During the inspection, Welfare Commissioner Mr. Kuldeep Chaudhary, Special Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department Mr. Rajiv Lochan Bakshi, Joint Director Mr. Anand, Director TRI Mr. Alok S. Kachhap, along with officials from concerned departments and agency representatives, were present.
