Jharkhand officials applaud new mobility aid for persons with disabilities

During the distribution event, Deputy Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat affirmed the district administration’s dedication to supporting vulnerable groups, especially persons with disabilities. He said the CSR‑funded scooters will help recipients overcome travel challenges and take part in livelihood activities. The Finance Minister noted that large corporations are now being asked to disclose the deployment of their CSR monies, ensuring transparency in social welfare spending.

Weather concerns were also raised, with the district’s top officials warning of a dry season that could affect local conditions, reinforcing the need for resilient infrastructure and community support.
