Jharkhand Health Reform: More Medical Seats and Abua Dawakhana Launch

In a significant move to bolster medical education and public health, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the Health Department to increase the number of UG and PG seats in state-run medical colleges. One of the most ambitious projects discussed was the establishment of 'Abua Dawakhana'. These integrated medicine centers will provide a one-stop solution for various medical systems including Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, and Siddha medicines free of charge. This initiative aims to provide holistic healthcare options to the rural populace, ensuring that traditional and modern treatments are available under one roof.
