Jharkhand’s acting Director General of Police, T. Mishra, has asserted that the Naxalite threat in the Saranda forest region will be eliminated swiftly. Arriving in Chaibasa, the DGP was warmly welcomed by administrative and security officials. During a high-level meeting, she reviewed ongoing anti-Naxal operations and discussed strategies to dismantle Naxal networks in the dense Saranda area. The DGP emphasized the challenges faced by security forces in field operations but praised the joint efforts of the police, CRPF, Cobra, and Jaguar battalions for their continuous successes. She confirmed that preparations are complete to neutralize active Naxals in Saranda, acknowledging the need for analysis and improvement of operational strategies to enhance effectiveness and precision. Teamwork was highlighted as the primary strength, with a focus on conducting operations safely and systematically.
