Jamtara Village Mourns After School‑Returning Kids Slip into Deep Water

A somber atmosphere has settled over Jamtara after three school‑going boys drowned in a local pond. The youngsters – all friends from the same neighbourhood – left their homes after classes, walked a short distance, and reached a water body where they intended to cool off. While playing, they slipped and fell into the pond's deeper zone. Bystanders quickly entered the water, but the boys were already beyond help. Authorities recovered the bodies, initiated an investigation, and the village is now holding collective prayers for the departed.
