The Meteorological Department in Ranchi has issued a yellow alert for 13 districts in Jharkhand today, June 28th, due to the expectation of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. The affected districts include Ranchi, Latehar, Lohardaga, Gumla, Khunti, Simdega, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Koderma, Chatra, Bokaro, Saraikela-Kharsawan, and Bokaro. An orange alert has been issued for June 29th, indicating heavy rainfall is anticipated in Chatra, Hazaribagh, Latehar, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Ranchi, and Gumla. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for Garhwa, Palamu, Bokaro, Khunti, Simdega, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, and Saraikela-Kharsawan, warning of thunderstorms and rain. The weather department also forecasts good rainfall in nine districts on June 30th and in five districts on July 1st, with yellow alerts in effect for these areas.
