HDFC Bank Expands Operations with New Back Office in Ranchi’s Panchvati Tower

Ranchi – HDFC Bank inaugurated its third back‑office in Jharkhand on Monday, with Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore serving as the chief guest. Located in the Panchvati Tower at Harmu, the centre is set to augment the bank’s operational capabilities.

The minister noted that the addition will streamline banking processes, making credit, deposits and other services more accessible to the people of Jharkhand. It also aligns with the state’s goal of fostering employment opportunities for youth through financial sector growth.

Kumar Abhishek, Regional Head of the bank, remarked that the new back‑office will boost transaction speed and service quality, reinforcing HDFC’s commitment to the region. Senior bank leaders, including the Regional Head for Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha and Joint Head Nitesh Narayan Chaudhary, were on the dais.

The ceremony highlighted the importance of expanding banking infrastructure to drive inclusive economic progress and create sustainable jobs.
