Green Energy and Manufacturing Deals Highlight Jharkhand's Growth Plans

Ranchi – A key outcome of the National Stakeholders Consultation‑2026 was the emphasis on renewable energy and manufacturing. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) presented a slate of proposals covering solar and wind installations, smart metering, transmission infrastructure, grid upgrades, and domestic production of solar cells and modules.

The Chief Minister praised these initiatives, noting that Jharkhand aims to become a green‑energy‑powered industrial hub. He promised sustained engagement with CII to accelerate project approvals and facilitate investment flows.

In parallel, Hero Cycles and Even Cycles engaged with the state to explore the establishment of bicycle and e‑bike factories. The proposals anticipate investments ranging from ₹500 crore to ₹1,000 crore, which could create thousands of jobs and strengthen Jharkhand’s manufacturing ecosystem.

The government highlighted its readiness to provide industry‑friendly policies, prime industrial land, robust steel‑based supply chains, efficient logistics and a skilled workforce to support these ventures.

Together, the renewable energy and manufacturing discussions showcase Jharkhand’s strategic vision to integrate sustainable power with advanced production capabilities, positioning the state for long‑term economic resilience.
