Devotees in Ranchi are gearing up for one of the year’s most revered events: the Phalgun Utsav at Sri Radha Vallabh Temple. Under the auspices of Shri Shyam Sangh, the festival on February 27 coincides with Phalgun Shukla Ekadashi, igniting waves of excitement among Baba Shyam followers.
The morning kicks off at 7 AM with a breathtaking procession from Upper Bazaar. Carrying 501 sanctified nishans, participants will parade through prominent city routes, arriving at Shri Shyam Temple on Agrasen Path. There, elaborate poojan ceremonies will consecrate the flags, offered with deep reverence to the deity.
Kamlesh Sanchati, the Sangh’s president, shared details of the meticulous planning. Vinayak Poddar and Ashish Agarwal helm the coordination, supported by key members like Anil Lohia, Harendra Agarwal, Sanjay Sureka, Saurabh Kataruka, Rupesh Lohia, and Saurabh Bathwal. Bhajans and kiirtan sessions will elevate the spiritual vibe throughout.
This tradition not only honors Baba Shyam but also unites the community in celebration. With comprehensive preparations in place, the event is poised to be a grand success. Bhakts are called upon to join in large numbers, ensuring the legacy of Phalgun Utsav shines brighter than ever in Ranchi.
