Governor's hands‑on approach highlights voter‑list drive in Jharkhand

<p>At a special voter‑list scrutiny program in Ranchi, Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar demonstrated a hands‑on method by filling the SIR form himself. After completing the form he signed it and gave it to B.L.O. Manju Kachhap, responsible for booth 16 in the 63‑Ranchi constituency.</p><p>Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar, District Election Officer Manjunath Bhajntari and ERO‑Sub‑Division Officer Kumar Rajat witnessed the gesture.</p><p>The governor called on all eligible voters to cooperate when booth officers bring the form to their doorstep, asking them to fill it out promptly and return it with a signature so that no eligible citizen is left out of the voters’ list.</p><p>He praised the dedication of election staff and expressed confidence that their collective effort will ensure flawless voter registration across the state.</p>
