Family accuses broken engagement of causing mental trauma and death

Vijayashri’s father filed a formal complaint at the Pundag OP police station, identifying four suspects: the former fiancé Anjan Chaudhary, his parents Lalan Prasad and Reeta Chaudhary, and an unnamed associate. The petition alleges that the couple’s breakup subjected Vijayashri to continuous mental pressure and that dowry demands were made. According to the family, the abrupt refusal to marry directly contributed to her deteriorating mental health, leading to the fatal act.
