The road that runs from Narsinghbahal Chowk to Matiyaltola has been in a state of neglect for years. Cracks and broken sections have made travel uncomfortable for pedestrians and two‑wheelers alike. Farmers report difficulty reaching their fields, while traders struggle to bring produce to market.

Local leader Dukhni Soren, daughter of former chief minister Champai Soren, has also raised the issue with authorities, urging immediate action on both road resurfacing and bridge construction to restore safe mobility for the region.
