Award-winning filmmakers from Jharkhand meet Chief Minister today

Young award-winning filmmakers from Jharkhand, Mr. Biju Toppo, Mr. Sheral Murmu, Mr. Niranjan Kujur, Mr. Ravi Raj Murmu, Mr. Anuj Kumar, and Mr. Mansingh Baske, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren at the Jharkhand Ministry today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister appreciated their contribution to the film sector. The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride for Jharkhand that the state's artists, directors, and filmmakers are making a strong presence on national and international platforms. He said that remarkable achievements are continuously emerging from Jharkhand in the field of filmmaking, which are further strengthening the state's cultural identity. Chief Minister Mr. Soren assured that the state government will provide all possible cooperation in taking Jharkhand state further in the field of film development in the coming days. He said that positive initiatives will be taken in the direction of filmmaking, shooting, technical training, and providing opportunities to local talents. On this occasion, the filmmakers present informed about their films, directorial achievements, and national-international awards. All of them have gained wide recognition through films based on Jharkhand's tribal, social, and cultural themes. On the occasion, the filmmakers also shared their suggestions with the Chief Minister regarding promoting filmmaking in the state, providing a platform for local artists, and developing Jharkhand as an emerging film destination. The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand's art, culture, and tribal heritage are extremely rich, and through the medium of film, it can be effectively conveyed to the country and the world.
