Authorities Clear Blocked Road Following Tanker Crash in Jharkhand

After a massive tanker‑hiace collision near Satpulia, Kodarma valley, local authorities worked through the night to reopen the Ranchi‑Patna main road. The incident, which took place on a steep downhill section, left the tanker driver severely wounded and caused extensive damage to the vehicle.

Police officers and road safety officials arrived within minutes of the crash report. The rescue team, headed by Officer Sagar Kumar Giri, managed to free the driver from the crushed cab and arrange immediate transport to Sadar Hospital. Meanwhile, traffic congestion built up, with dozens of trucks and passenger vehicles stuck for hours.

Using a heavy‑duty crane, the authorities lifted the damaged tanker from the roadway, cleared debris, and inspected the stretch for any remaining hazards. By late afternoon, the highway was declared safe, and normal traffic resumed.
