Arrest of Ravindra Ganjhu Deals Blow to Active Naxal Network in Palamu, Ranchi

The seizure of Ravindra Ganjhu, a key figure in the CPI (Maoist) hierarchy, was executed by a joint task force of state police and CRPF in Latehar's Chandwa police station jurisdiction. Officials said the move will severely dent the insurgent network that has been orchestrating attacks across Palamu and Ranchi circles. Ganjhu, linked to the 2019 ambush that claimed four police lives during a rally by the Union Home Minister, was also implicated in distributing cash rewards to his cadres after successful raids.
