Amidst the buzz of the Bihar assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its new working president in Jharkhand on Friday. Overruling numerous speculations, the party appointed Rajya Sabha member Aditya Sahu as the working president of the Jharkhand unit. This appointment is believed to be a strategic move by the BJP. However, through this appointment, Congress Minister Irfan Ansari has made a significant political move concerning senior state leader and former minister CP Singh. He expressed his feelings through a heartfelt letter on social media, stating, ‘Why stay where there is no respect?’
A key aspect of this development is the BJP’s strategic decision to appoint Aditya Sahu, a Rajya Sabha MP from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community, as the new working president in Jharkhand. While there were no apparent internal conflicts within the BJP regarding this appointment, Congress leader and Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari responded to the appointment by indirectly advising CP Singh to leave the BJP.
