A shocking scandal has emerged from Bokaro where 28 police personnel were suspended after investigations revealed they were in close contact with a murder suspect. Instead of arresting Dinesh Mahto for the kidnapping and murder of Pushpa Mahto, the officers were allegedly attending parties hosted by him and accepting bribes. The victim’s remains were only recovered after the Jharkhand High Court intervened and ordered a fresh probe. SP Harvinder Singh took the stern action to address the massive failure and corruption within the Pindrajora police station and the initial SIT.
