Around 1,800 pupils from Sarvodaya Inter College in Kishanpur, Fatehpur district, staged a large‑scale demonstration against the lack of essential infrastructure. Protesters complained of inadequate electricity, faulty wiring, insufficient fans, contaminated drinking water, dilapidated toilets, and the absence of proper seating and midday meals. The students claimed they had repeatedly approached the school administration without receiving any resolution. District school inspector Rakesh Kumar arrived, inspected the premises, listened to the grievances and issued immediate orders for corrective action.
